French Open Champion Iga Swiatek Extends Lead On Top Of WTA Rankings

Poland’s Iga Swiatek extended her lead against top-ranked American Coco Goff in the WTA rankings released on Monday after winning the French Open in Paris, moving closer to the top-10. The 21-year-old Polish star is ranked number one in the world. Following the retirement of Australian Ashley Barty in early April. And after claiming the 35th consecutive victory over Roland Garros, he is now more than 4,300 points ahead of Estonia’s new world number two Annette Connaught.
