The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Wednesday announced a 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series against the West Indies starting July 22. Senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and Jaspreet Bumrah have been rested for 50. – More formatted veteran opening batsman Shekhar Dhawan will lead the team and all-rounder Ravinder Jadeja has been appointed vice-captain.
Many young faces like Deepak Hooda, Arshdeep Singh, Owais Khan and Prasad Krishna are part of the squad.
Rishbha Pant has also been rested for the series and the two wicket-keeping options in the squad are Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson.
India will play a three-match T20I series against England, followed by a three-match ODI series.

Shekhar Dhawan (captain), Raturaj Gaikwad, Shabman Gul, Deepak Hooda, Surya Kumar Yadav, Shriyas Air, Ishan Kishan (wicket), Sanju Samson (wicket), Ravinder Jadeja (vice-captain), Shardul Thakur, Yuzwinder Chahal, Aksar Patel, Owais Khan, Prasad Krishna, Muhammad Siraj, Arshdeep Singh.
