Indian Cricketers Association Welcomes BCCI’s Decision To Increase Pension Of Former Players

The Indian Cricketers’ Association (ICA) on Tuesday expressed its gratitude to the BCCI for raising the pensions of former Test and first-class cricketers with retired umpires. The BCCI has doubled the pensions of former first-class and Test cricketers, with those earning Rs 15,000 being upgraded to Rs 30,000 and those earning Rs 37,500 to Rs 60,000 in brackets. From now on, those who receive Rs 50,000 will get Rs 70,000.
