World number four Paula Budosa defeated two-time champion Petra Kvitova on Saturday to advance to the fourth round of Wimbledon, where she will face another former winner, Simona Halep. The Spaniard won 7-5, 7-6 (7/4) to reach the last 16 of the All England Club for the second year in a row.

Badusa corrected a 4-2 deficit in the opening set to improve on Kivitova, who double-faulted the set point.
