Tottenham’s new forward رچرلیسن He will miss the first game of the Premier League season after being banned from smoking and celebrating goals while playing for Everton last season. Richardson sealed a £ 60 million ($ 71 million) transfer to Tottenham last week, but the Brazilian will have to wait for his first top flight match in a Tottenham shirt. The 25-year-old scored Everton’s 1-0 win over Chelsea on May 1 and responded by picking up a flame thrown at the pitch before launching at Godison Park Stands.
The victory was a major step in Everton’s successful fight to escape relegation.
But Richardson, who agreed to a five-year deal with Tottenham, admitted to misconduct after being charged by the Football Association on June 1.
The governing body announced Tuesday that Richardson would face a one-match ban and a 25,000 fine.
The FA statement said: “An independent regulatory commission has suspended Richardson de Andreid for one match and violated FA Rule E3 during a Premier League match on Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was later fined £ 25,000. “
“Tottenham Hotspur FC forward admitted his conduct while playing for Everton in the 46th minute of the game against Chelsea FC, and was banned during the subsequent hearing.”
