Katie Ledecky reclaimed the women’s 1,500m freestyle title at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest on Monday, about 15 seconds ahead of her nearest chase.
He touched in 15 minutes 30.15 seconds. Fellow American Katie Grimes was 14.74 seconds behind Australian Lani Palester at 18.81.

Ledecky won three straight world titles at the event before an illness forced her to miss the 2019 final in Guangzhou, South Korea. She won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
